Britney Spears and fiance Sam Asghari want to buy a new house together once conservatorship is over

Britney Spears is looking to move on and move up in many different ways.

The 39-year-old popstar wants to ‘move out of the valley’ and buy a new house with her fiance, Sam Asghari, once her 13-year conservatorship battle is over.

Sources told TMZ that Brit and Sam ‘are ready to start their new lives together,’ but they want do it ‘under a new roof and without the constraints’ of her court order.

The couple wants to take their relationship to the ‘next level,’ but will only do so once ‘Britney has full control of her own finances.’

‘Britney’s looking to move out of the valley and head closer to the Hollywood/L.A. area with Sam, but they’re keeping their options open as far as exactly where or what type of property they wanna buy,’ the outlet noted.

Britney sources said there are ‘too many bad memories’ at her home which she bought in 2012 and is located in the Lake Sherwood area of Westlake Village.

Sam proposed to Britney earlier this month with a sparkling $70,000 engagement ring engraved with ‘lioness’ after dating for years.

This will mark Britney’s third marriage, with the star first tying the knot with Jason Alexander in 2004 — with no prenup in place — before marrying Kevin Federline that same year, but with a 60-page prenuptial agreement.

Sources told E News! that Sam was ‘dying to propose to Britney and knew this was finally the right time’ to pop the question.

‘They are so happy to be able to share this new chapter together,’ the insider revealed. ‘They have been talking about getting engaged for a while now and Sam totally threw her off today at her house. She was so taken back, she screamed.’

Sam and Britney first came into each other’s orbit in October 2016, when she starred with the Iran-born actor in her Slumber Party video, and they made their relationship Instagram official in January 2017.

Sam’s manager, Brandon Cohen, confirmed the news via a statement shortly after the lovebirds both posted on their platforms.

‘It was very private and romantic, everything she wanted,’ the source added. ‘Britney has told Sam that he is her soul mate and that she is so grateful to have him, especially during these hard times.’

In June, Spears gave an emotional, 23-minute testimony during a hearing in a Los Angeles court where she pleaded with Judge Brenda Penny for freedom by ending the 13-year conservatorship she’s been under where her father, Jamie, has held the power over all of her personal and financial decisions following her multiple involuntary holds in psychiatric hospitals.

The last time Spears spoke directly to the judge was in May 2019, but the court was closed to the public and her testimony was sealed, and details of her mental health have never been disclosed.

In the shocking testimony, Britney admitted: ‘I’ve lied and told the whole world I’m OK and I’m happy. It’s a lie. I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized. Fake it ’til you make it, but now I’m telling you the truth, OK? I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m depressed. I cry every day.’

Spears said she did not feel she ‘was heard on any level’ the last time she was able to speak to the court in 2019.

‘I want changes and I want changes going forward,’ she said. ‘I deserve changes. I was told I have to sit down and be evaluated, again, if I want to end the conservatorship. Ma’am, I didn’t know I could petition the conservatorship to end it.

‘This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good. I deserve to have a life, I’ve worked my whole life. I deserve to have a two to three-year break.’
