FANS have been left furious after an X Factor boyband quietly cancelled their reunion tour without an announcement.
A fan took to social media to share that the Union J The Reunion Tour wouldn’t be taking place at Liverpool Empire Theatre after their ticket was refunded.

The person in question received an email, which read: “Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the promoters of the show have taken the difficult decision to cancel the performance that was due to take place on 03 June 2023.
“We understand the disappointment this will cause and apologise for any inconvenience.”
Hitting out at the band, the fan captioned the post: “The silence from them on all of this is actually disrespectful.”
Other fans have been left furious too, as one wrote: “So Union J are posting on the personal accounts, but haven’t said anything about the tour cancellation!

“Kind of low-key glad I never got tickets if this is how they are going about it. I love them but they HAVE to ADDRESS this matter.”
Another wrote: “lads pls don’t use the band account on Insta to promote your own stuff when you can’t even give us a reason (as of yet) to why there is no tour You’re just gonna add fuel to the fire.”
A third penned: “Not union j cancelling their tour and we all find out through ticketmaster… what stopped them telling us themselves.”
And a fourth wrote: “As if union j cancelled their tour and they haven’t put anything out on their socials formally???
“After spending all that money and only finding out via Twitter is disgraceful.”
The lads reached the semi-final of X Factor in 2011 then had a string of hit singles.
They’ve since admitted that they were dropped by their label Epic Records following their 2014 album You Got It All — only weeks after having a No2 hit — which led to their demise.
The band were set to perform five special shows in 2023, as part of their reunion tour.
They also had dates for their tour scheduled for Newcastle and Glasgow in May – both of which have been cancelled.
