Fresh off of their first collaborative installment with New Balance in seven months, JJJJound is taking another crack at the NB 2002R this coming winter, this time featuring weather-resistant GORE-TEX tooling.
In stark contrast to the greyscale palette that adorned the Montreal-based design houses’ October installment, the staple runner instead opts for a strict two-toned color blocking steeped in the brand’s understated aesthetic. Bringing to mind the model’s 2021 “Triumph Green” colorway, the upcoming joint effort sees a litany of suede overlays assume a muted shade of evergreen. Wrapping along the mudguard, quarter and a majority of the heel, the base layer’s ballistic mesh tooling then receives a jet-black juxtaposition that stretches further pitch-dark color matches to the profile N logo, inner lining and the sole unit underfoot.

In other news, the Jordan 1 Low OG “Mocha” is releasing in August 2024.
