Lin-Manuel Miranda sends out a video apologizing to a history teacher for causing one of her students to skip class: ‘He is with me’

Georgia mother Tamara Stevens pulled her son Luke out of class on Thursday to have lunch with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda… but the teacher, Ms. Rosner, didn’t quite believe her.

Stevens took to Twitter to share a video of her son and Miranda, 41, who apologized Ms. Rosner for Luke missing her U.S. History class.

He also promised that they would be covering the Bill of Rights during their time together, so the absence wasn’t ‘wasted time.’
