Meghan Markle may ‘never come to UK again’ says expert – Harry Jubilee plans in doubt | Royal | News
Robert Jobson told US Weekly how the return of the Duchess of Sussex to the UK, especially over The Queen’s platinum Jubilee year in 2022, would draw focus away from Her Majesty and thus it could be that she never returns. While he claimed the situation leaves Prince Harry in what he suggested was a difficult position.
The royal expert told the show: “I am not sure Meghan will ever come to Britain again – she is not popular here now.”
He added: “The idea of her standing next to the Queen doting on her when you have got a book coming in which you’re going to spill more dirty linen in public does seem a little hypocritical.”
Mr Jobson then went on to claim observers “will have to wait and see” whether Prince Harry comes along or misses the landmark anniversary altogether.
The royal expert suggested: “I am sure Harry thinks he will be there for the platinum Jubilee but you have got to remember within months he is going to have a book coming out probably attacking the Royal Family.

“Who knows, he says he never will but I am sure the publishers, after paying all that money, will want some thing for their buck.”
Mr Jobson went on to speculate how the idea of Prince Harry coming back to the UK could potentially be “quite awkward” for The Queen and the rest of the family.
He suggested how the focus of attention should instead be on the Queen on her 70th anniversary of continued service, dedication and duty.
But Mr Jobson added: “The focus should not be on whether Meghan is happy or not or whether Harry is looking the wrong way from his brother.”

The comments come as Buckingham Palace have announced there will be year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations throughout the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and around the world in 2022 as people come together to celebrate The Queen’s historic reign.
In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having come to the throne on 6th February 1952 when she was just 25-years-old.
As part of the landmark year, there will be an extended bank holiday from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June.
