Michelle Williams Brings Back Her Platinum Pixie Cut at the Oscars 2023

On Oscars night, nominee Michelle Williams looked to her own beauty back catalog for hair inspiration, bringing back one of her signature hairstyles: the pixie crop.

In recent months, she’s sported a jaw-grazing bob—first seen at the L.A. premiere of The Fabelmans last year—but she returned to a delicate pixie cut with a feathered, face-framing fringe in honor of her special night.

The style was a grown-out version of the gamine white blonde cut she wore at the ceremony in 2017. Williams, who is nominated in the Best Actress category for her performance in The Fabelmans, debuted her new hair on the red carpet, wearing an ethereal Chanel couture look and Tiffany & Co. jewelry chosen by her stylist Kate Young. To elevate her embellished couture gown, Williams rocked a dramatic red lip and eyeliner.

Her new cut was reminiscent of the style she sported at the ceremony in 2017.
