“Kawasaki disease is a rare, non-contagious disease that only affects around eight in every 100,000 children under the age of five in the UK,” the 33-year-old wrote while sharing pictures of her son in hospital.

“This disease causes swelling of the blood vessels throughout the body.

“It can also affect the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle when not treated early enough.”

Speaking more about the situation, she added: “This past week has shaken our whole world as a family. I’ve never felt a fear like it.

“I will do all that I can to help raise awareness of this disease that to this day still has no explained cause.

“OUR VERY SPECIAL RONNIE ROO IS COMING HOME and we are back together as a family at last.”

Following the scary time, Sophie, who is also mum to son Lennie with husband Jamie, has been back to her Instagram best sharing an air fryer hack that her fans are absolutely loving.

Posting a video to her 4.7 million Instagram followers, she wrote: “Because I’m fully sucked in to any Airfryer hack that involves cheese.

“Hello and happy Saturday to you all xxx”

The easy tasty treat was made by wrapping a cheese string in half a tortilla wrap, coating it with a little oil and adding it to the air fryer.

One person wrote: “The way you pulled that cheese apart it turned me straight for about 2 minutes lol.”

“These look amazing,” added someone else.

While a third penned: “I mean yes please to the cheese @mrshinchhome these look so nice! Delicious. Also can I say how lovely it is to have you back we’ve all missed you and I hope little man Ron is doing ok. Love ya.”

“These look beautiful. Like if food could be sexy this is it its the cheese for me,” penned a fourth follower.
