SEISS final deadline: When is the deadline – All YOU need to know about the final grant | Personal Finance | Finance
The amount you receive is contingent on how much your turnover has been hit by the pandemic.
For SEISS 5, for the first time, the grant will not see claimants automatically receive the average profits they are eligible for.
Unlike previous grants where it was “all or nothing”, the final amount for the fifth grant will depend on how much your turnover has dipped.
This means, if your turnover has dropped by 30 percent or more,m you will be able to claim the full grant worth 80 percent of three months’ average trading profits, up to £7,500.
However, if your turnover has dipped less than 30 percent you will be unable to claim the full grant.
Instead, you will be eligible for a grant worth 30 percent of three months’ average trading profits, capped at £2,850.
