Derek Chisora has reportedly now emerged as the ‘frontrunner’ for Tyson Fury’s next fight.
The WBC heavyweight world champion was in negotiations to face Anthony Joshua, but these talks broke down last week.

After this, Fury insisted that he still intended to fight on December 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff as originally planned.
According to the Telegraph, he has agreed terms with his old foe Chisora for a trilogy contest on this date.
Mahmoud Charr is known to also be a potential opponent considered by Fury, but it’s claimed Chisora is the ‘frontrunner’ at present.
When they first met for the British and Commonwealth titles in 2011, Fury emerged victorious by unanimous decision in a back-and-forth affair.
In their 2014 rematch for the European and British titles, Fury was completely dominant and forced Chisora’s team to end the bout after round ten.
As a result of these two previous meetings, few are very excited by the prospect of a third bout between the pair.

It appears an official announcement may not be far away.
Fury said on social media on Thursday: “Hey guys, second session of the day. Absolutely smashing it.
“December 3, I’m coming for you. We’re about to announce an opponent this week some time.
“Get up there my boy. Cardiff here we come, get up.”
